Carer Support.
Caring for a loved one can be rewarding, but it can also be physically and emotionally demanding. At Everyday, in partnership with Age UK North Tyneside, we’re here to support you, so you can continue caring with confidence, while also taking time needed for yourself.
What support is available?
Alongside our partner, Age UK North Tyneside, we offer flexible, practical support to give you a physical break or to give you peace of mind and advice.
Our aim is simple: to help you continue caring to the best of your ability.

What to expect
Attendees can spend as much or as little time with us as they like – from an hour to a full day and we tailor our services to meet their specific needs.
- Enjoying a healthy lunch
- Socialising and taking part in varied activities
- Relaxing or even gardening– in our landscaped, accessible gardens
- Having a pamper – podiatry, hairdressing and assisted bathing or showering available
- Exercise activities such as Seated Exercise, Pilates and falls prevention exercises (to increase mobility and reduce falls)
- Pop up music concerts
- Sport’s days
We encourage all attendees to socialise, chat, and put the world to rights amongst themselves. Many find they have something in common and new friendships are formed.
We have trained staff on site with attendees alongside Team Leaders at each Wellbeing Centre. The team are always there to support in any way possible and can help with any queries.
Our Wellbeing Centres are available to everyone – you can pay privately as a customer or access our services via direct referral from your GP or Social Worker.
Practical support
You don’t have to figure everything out alone.
We can connect you with trusted support from Age UK North Tyneside. This includes Age UK North Tyneside’s Information & Advice service, providing information on finances, Welfare benefits, pensions, energy advice, tax and other financial matters alongside health and social care matters, activities available to you, and more!
In addition, for anyone caring for someone with dementia, we have Admiral Nurses available. Admiral Nurses are specialist dementia nurses who give expert, practical, clinical and emotional support. They are registered nurses who work in the community, supporting those living with dementia to stay at home for longer.
Whether you’re new to caring or need help navigating next steps, we’re here to guide you.
