What support is available?

Alongside our partner, Age UK North Tyneside, we offer flexible, practical support to give you a physical break or to give you peace of mind and advice.

 

Our aim is simple: to help you continue caring to the best of your ability.

 

Whether you need a short break, advice, or ongoing support, our services are designed to help you balance your own wellbeing with the needs of the person you care for.

Wellbeing Centres

Wellbeing Centres, with care from EveryDay and run by Age UK North Tyneside, offer a friendly and supportive space for the people you care for to spend time, stay active, and socialise, while you get some time to yourself.

 

Our wellbeing centres are: 

  • Rowan Croft Wellbeing Centre, Goodwood, Killingworth, NE12 6HT
  • Cedar Grove Wellbeing Centre, Cedar Grove, Wallsend, NE28 6PR
  • Linskill Park Wellbeing Centre, Linskill Terrace, North Shields, NE30 2BF

EveryDay services are delivered in partnership with Age UK North Tyneside, bringing together trusted local support with years of experience in helping older people and carers.

Practical support

You don’t have to figure everything out alone.

 

We can connect you with trusted support from Age UK North Tyneside. This includes Age UK North Tyneside’s Information & Advice service, providing information on finances, Welfare benefits, pensions, energy advice, tax and other financial matters alongside health and social care matters, activities available to you, and more! 

 

In addition, for anyone caring for someone with dementia, we have Admiral Nurses available. Admiral Nurses are specialist dementia nurses who give expert, practical, clinical and emotional support. They are registered nurses who work in the community, supporting those living with dementia to stay at home for longer.

 

Whether you’re new to caring or need help navigating next steps, we’re here to guide you.
